Krissy Cupcake is a Texas-based burlesque performer, producer, and magician—bringing humor, chaos, and classic illusion to stages for over eight years. She’s a longtime member of the Lollie Bombs Burlesque troupe, where she got her start as a stage kitten before stepping into the spotlight with her signature mix of magic, sideshow, and Nerdlesque. Her acts are playful, bold, and just the right amount of unhinged—driven by a love of storytelling, sleight of hand, and unexpected reveals.
Krissy is an international burlesque performer and festival titleholder, crowned at the Croatian Burlesque and Cabaret Festival in 2025. Whether she’s cracking jokes, conjuring a bit of chaos, or bringing the house down with a dramatic reveal, she delivers a full-on theatrical experience every time she hits the stage.
Offstage, Krissy is the founder, producer, and president of DiabeTEASE—a registered Texas nonprofit and annual burlesque showcase raising funds and awareness for diabetes care, insulin access, and medical equity. As a Type 1 Diabetic herself, Krissy created the show out of frustration and fire: a fierce response to rising insulin prices, medical gatekeeping, and the lack of visibility for chronically ill creatives.
DiabeTEASE blends glitter and grit—bringing together a powerhouse cast of performers who turn the stage into a platform for advocacy. It’s not just a show; it’s a movement wrapped in rhinestones, proving that art can entertain and agitate for change.
Each year, DiabeTEASE raises thousands for grassroots diabetes initiatives and reminds the world that health care is a human right—and burlesque has something to say about it.
